How to Apply for Residency


To apply to any of our residency programs you must electronically submit an application through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). You will also be required to upload the following documents to ERAS:

  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Board Scores 1, 2, and PE (original or certified copy from your medical school)
  • original medical school transcripts
  • your personal statement
  • a letter of good standing from your program director or director of medical education
  • three (3) professional letters of recommendation.

Medical Student Opportunities


Harnett Health welcomes fourth-year medical students to participate in 4-week audition rotations in the following areas: Inpatient Internal Medicine & Outpatient Family Medicine. We will work to accommodate rotation requests based on resource availability. Osteopathic medical students interested in rotating should fill out the Visiting Medical Student Application. The full application, with all required documentation, must be completed and received at least 60 days prior to the rotation start date. For the 2016-2017 academic year we have the following potential 4-week audition rotation slots:
