Harnett Health is committed to Transforming Healthcare in Harnett County

Access to care is one way we are accomplishing this mission.  By bringing in more physicians and specialists and by expanding our services and locations, we continue to build a PREMIER MEDICAL STAFF so that you can receive care locally and have a choice in physicians. By building relationships with physician practices in the Triangle and helping them establish practices in our community, you have the peace of mind that you are receiving the same quality care here at home as you would in a larger city.

What kind of provider are you seeking?

Our medical staff includes approximately 200 medical doctors (MD), doctors of osteopathy (D.O.), doctors of podiatric medicine (DPM), doctors of dental surgery (DDS), certified physician assistants (PA-C), certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNA) and family nurse practitioners (FNP) offering a variety of primary care and specialty care services.  We have a full network of providers who have their own private practices as well as practices owned by Harnett Health. Additionally, we continue to build our relationships with established physician groups and Campbell University Department of Osteopathic Medicine so that we can address our physician needs for years to come.

Primary Care providers specialize in family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, and OB/GYN.

Specialty providers include cardiologists, gastroenterologists, general surgeons, nephrologists, oncologists, ophthalmologists, orthopedic surgeons, otolaryngologists (ear/nose/throat), ophthalmologists, pediatric cardiologists, and urologists.

Hospital-based providers take care of patients while they are in the hospital or seeking medical care on an outpatient basis. These specialties include hospitalists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, emergency medicine, and pathologists. These specialists don’t have practices where they see patients. Rather, all patients are seen in the hospital setting.
