Felix Okechukwu Ajuonuma

Hometown/State-Country: Ann Arbor, MI

Medical School: New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, Old Westbury, NY

Goals: It has always been my interest to be an Internist and to practice medicine in rural underserved communities.

Why Harnett Health?:  Interviewing at Harnett Health gave me the opportunity to see first-hand a great place to train, live, raise my children, and serve the rural communities that I have always wanted. Harnett Health is one of the greatest places to work and train, with opportunities to work directly with Campbell University faculty and Harnett Health staff attending physicians one-on-one. The didactics curriculum, strong inpatient, critical care, and emergency medicine exposures, coupled with the ambulatory continuity clinic provide a great learning experience for a more well-rounded internal medicine physician. I am very delighted to have chosen Harnett Health for my residency training in Internal Medicine and enjoy going to work every single day with the nicest and most friendly coordinator, staff, students, and nurses that any present or future resident will surely aspire to have.
