In 2016, Paige Johnson and Country on the Outskirts of Town began supporting the work of our foundation with an annual benefit. “Bless Your Heart” was inspired by the love we have for advancing healthcare in Harnett County and, of course, southern charm. Join the Country on the Outskirts of Town crew and the Harnett Health Foundation for the Third Annual “Bless Your Heart” Benefit Show. This event will start off with a great catered buffet meal and then The Outskirts Band will take the stage to present a two-hour live show full of your favorite country classics, gospel tunes, bluegrass and maybe even some beach music!

This is probably our cutest and cuddliest way to make a big impact we have… Modeled after the teddy bear program developed with law enforcement to comfort children during difficult times. We’re proud to debut our Harnett HealthCare Bears program with a similar mission. Our goal is to raise funds to purchase and distribute teddy bears for our admitted children and those adults needing an extra friend during their stay with us. You or your organization can raise or donate funds to help us “Foster” our mission and donate a Bear in your honor. Our bears will be all decked out in either scrubs or lab coats like your favorite doctor or nurse to add to our theme. We look forward to having you involved.

Our Friends of the Foundation program helps individuals and organization make a small but vital donation towards our mission on an annual basis. Much like a business being a member of their local Chamber of Commerce our Friends of the Foundation program helps us by receiving needed funding to help make a united cornerstone of support. As with all the donations we receive, no portion is used for salaries, rent or utilities. This allows you to have a direct and immediate impact into the core of our mission.

Our designation opportunities include our naming rights of facilities to programs like our Samaritans fund to help the less fortunate with healthcare services and support.
