Anthony Parker, DO
Information

Anthony Parker, DO is a native of Southeastern North Carolina and was born and raised in Duplin County. He obtained his Bachelors of Science Degree in Human Biology from North Carolina State University before pursuing his medical education at Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine. He went on to complete his five-year Orthopedic residency at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, during which he actively participated in over 3,500 surgical procedures.

He completed his Lower extremity Reconstruction Fellowship in La Jolla/San Diego, California which focuses on adult disorders of the hip and knee, specifically Primary and Revision hip, and knee replacement. This fellowship afforded him comprehensive training in both operative and non-operative strategies for managing hip and knee disorders.

A cornerstone of Dr. Parker's philosophy lies in his conservative approach to surgery, reserving operative interventions for cases in which non-operative treatments have been thoroughly explored. He holds a keen interest in minimally invasive surgical techniques and the integration of cutting-edge technology, including robotics, into joint replacement procedures.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Parker finds fulfillment in quality time with his wife and two children, as well as pursuing outdoor activities like hiking and tending to his yard.
