Asif Zia, MD, MPH,FACP

Primary Care

Dr. Asif Zia, an internal medicine and infectious disease physician, has a strong interest in rare and unusual infectious diseases and improving the quality of primary care for patients. Prior to practicing at Lillington Medical Services, Dr. Zia practiced in Dunn, N.C.

Dr. Zia received his medical degree from Ahmadu Bello University in Nigeria as well as the University of Alabama School of Medicine. He received his Masters in Public Health in Epidemiology at the University of Alabama, and completed his Residency at East Carolina University School of Medicine. He received his fellowship in infectious disease at Wake Forest University Hospital. He is board certified in both internal medicine and infectious disease. Dr. Zia’s primary interests is in improving the primary care services in the outpatient setting.

Dr. Zia grew up in a small town and always wanted to practice in a community similar to one he grew up in. He has been in Harnett County since 2005 and has always appreciated the compassion, and hospitality, that his patients bring to him everyday.

When asked why he wanted to practice with Harnett Health, Dr. Zia responded “I want to improve the quality of primary care and quality of life to the Harnett County area and the surrounding communities. A primary care Physician is something everyone needs so that they can live a healthy and full life.” Dr. Zia lives by the motto “Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life”

Madilyn Smith, PA-C

Primary Care

Madilyn Smith is a P.A. from Dunn, NC native and currently  living in Lillington, NC with her husband. She graduated from Campbell University and Duke University Physician Assistant Program. She has been practicing medicine since 2016. She is also certified to complete DOT examinations.

Kristy Long

Primary Care

Kristy Long is a certified nurse practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and specializes in primary care for patients ages newborn and up. Her clinical interests include women’s health, pediatric and adolescent care, and chronic disease management. She enjoys developing a partnership with her patients and helping them achieve their health goals. 

Kristy earned her master’s degree in nursing through Frontier Nursing University and graduated with honors. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. In her spare time, Kristy enjoys gardening, hiking, and spending time with her two children. 

Olivia Perry

Primary Care

Olivia Perry is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She received Bachelor’s degrees in Biological Sciences and Fashion and Textile Management from North Carolina State University in 2017. She went on to receive her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in nursing from Emory University in Atlanta, GA, graduating as a nurse practitioner in 2020. Olivia takes a comprehensive, collaborative approach to patient care. She places an emphasis on creating strong working relationships with patients in order to better help them accomplish their healthcare goals. In her free time, Olivia enjoys baking cakes and walking her dog, Bash.
