Our providers are:
Dr. Lori Langdon
Dr. Lori Langdon is originally from Harnett County and was born at Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn. She grew up between Coats and Benson on a tobacco farm. At the age of 5 on a hot summer day in the tobacco field, she determined to become a physician so she could always work in air conditioning. She attended school in Coats and then went to the NC School of Science and Math for her junior and senior years. She received her undergraduate degree in Zoology from NCSU, summa cum laude. She received her MD from Duke University School of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency training at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
She married her high school sweetheart, Mark, and they have six children (and one grandchild with another on the way!) She is active in her local church, Coats Baptist, and enjoys international medical mission trips. She has been in private practice pediatrics for 23 years now and is returning to Harnett Health to open a Lillington location of Premiere Pediatrics. Her clinical interests include breastfeeding, development, vaccines, judicious use of antibiotics, and adolescent mental health. She adores newborns and infants and loves to have long term relationships with families.
With her new position at Harnett Health, she will be giving lectures at Campbell University School of Medicine and hosting PA and DO students in her practice. She is a reviewer for Practical Reviews in Pediatrics. She is board certified in Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the NC Pediatric Society. She enjoys speaking to civic groups, churches, and schools and has her own YouTube channel, Doctor Langdon, to offer education and reassurance to parents.
