Due to improvements in the local positivity rates for COVID-19 and the dropping rate of COVID-19 admissions, Harnett Health facilities will loosen visitation restrictions starting Wednesday, Feb. 23rd.
All patients, excluding the Emergency Department, will be allowed no more than two visitors at a time, between the hours of 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The Emergency Department may have no more than two visitors at any given time.
COVID + patients may have no more than one visitor at a time, between the hours of 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. All visitors are required to wear appropriate mask and PPE at all times while in the patient’s room.
Masking requirements for staff and visitors will continue in all Harnett Health facilities and clinics. Visitors, patients, staff and medical staff are required to properly wear a mask at all times. Masks must remain on at all times, even in patient’s rooms as a visitor, or the visitor will be asked to leave. This mask policy will be strictly enforced.
Visitors under the age of 16 years old will not be allowed to visit at this time.
Visitors with symptoms of a fever or respiratory illness symptoms, including cough or shortness of breath, should remain home.
