Harnett Health and Falcon Children’s Home have officially entered into a partnership in which Harnett Health Family Medicine Residents will provide medical care for children that are living at, or are under the care of Falcon Children’s home. Harnett Health Physicians Dr. Regina Bray Brown and Dr Ryan Hudson will be the attending physicians.
“This partnership with Falcon Children’s Home is something that we are really excited about.” Said Dr. Bray Brown, “Traditionally our Family Medicine Residents who practice at Coats Medical Services have been seeing patients from all ages, however a majority of these patients have been adult patients. This partnership with Falcon Children’s Home will not only allow us to give our Family Medicine Residents more experience with pediatric patients, but also allow the children at the home to have easy access to professional medical care.”
Falcon Children’s Home is a private, not-for-profit institution, fully licensed by the State of North Carolina to care for up to 129 children between the ages of 0 and 21 years. It was established in 1909 with the mission to provide a home for children who, for whatever reason, are unable to live with their parents in a regular home setting. Over the last hundred years, it is estimated that over ten thousand children have been helped by the programs that the Falcon Children’s Home has to offer.
“Harnett Health is excited to be able to continue our mission to provide everyone in our community with access to the highest level of medical care.” Said Harnett Health President Cory Hess, “The staff at Falcon Children’s Home are some of the nicest and most caring people that you will meet and we are excited to be able to join them in their passion for taking care of the youth in our community.”
“Falcon Children’s Home and Family Services is very excited to be entering into a partnership with Harnett Health.” Said Falcon Children’s Home CEO Joseph Leggett, “The availability, professionalism and overall excellence in Healthcare that Harnett Health has provided in the community over the years, will truly benefit the children we serve. We are so thankful that Harnett Health, as an organization, is so community minded that they are willing to join us in making a difference in the lives of children. We look forward to a very bright future of working together.”
