Hometown/State-Country:  Upland, CA

Undergraduate School:  University of California at Riverside, Riverside CA

Medical School:  College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific (COMP), Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona, CA

Goals:  Upon completion of this program, I will continue my graduate medical education in a Psychiatry Residency program.

Why Harnett Health?:  Born and raised in southern California, I was delighted to have the opportunity to begin my training as a resident physician in the rural and underserved community that is Harnett County, North Carolina. As a member of Harnett Health System’s inaugural resident class, I am excited to contribute to the goal of transforming and improving the healthcare of this community. Being a part of a smaller and newly developed residency program creates unique opportunities to refine leadership and collaborative skills, as well as foster a supportive environment contusive to the professional growth of its resident physicians. Additionally, this program is dedicated to helping its residents achieve current and future career goals. This is accomplished by providing residents with a tailored rotation schedule that includes elective and research rotations, as well as the opportunity to work directly with attending physicians, mentors, and other health care providers in a multitude of clinical settings.
